According to visitor statistic compiled by Barry Hand, Amazon (.com, .co.uk, fr, .de and .ca) had combined visitors of over 600,000 in December 2009 and 37 million page views.
As would be expected for the slower retail period, the figures dipped slightly in January to 26 million page views and some 528,000 visitors.
Amazon does not make sales data for Ireland available, but the company sells its ebook reader, Kindle, available to Irish consumers as well as paper books and an array of other physical products.
