No Irish Published Title In Eason 50 Best Reads Of The Noughties

The Eason Book Club LogoNo Irish published book is included in Eason’s best 50 reads of the noughties. The titles were voted for by memebers of the Eason online book club.

Irish Author John Boyne was voted as the number one book of the decade. Several other Irish authors did appear on the list including John Banville, Sebastian Barry, Roddy Doyle, Anne Enright, Colum McCann, John McGahern, Joseph O’Connor and Com Toibin. However in all cases, the book in question has been published by a non-Irish publisher.
