Women’s Fiction writer Melissa Hill and her husband, Kevin Hill, will co-author a new series of thrillers for Simon & Schuster under the penname Casey Hill.
Taboo, the first of a six-figure, two book deal, will be released in Spring 2011 and will feature the character Riley Steel – a Quantico trained forensic investigator who comes to Dublin to head up the GFU, a new state-of-the-art Irish crime lab.
Hill will continue to publish Women’s Fiction with Hodder & Stoughton and is currently writing a novel for release with them in 2011.
Maxine Hitchcock, Editorial Director at Simon & Schuster was the acquiring editor. German and Dutch rights deals have already been agreed for the book.

I’ll be nice:) While not a fan of this type of genre, I find the whole premise of the story far-fetched. Why would a FBI trained investigator ever come to Ireland? And GFU? Sounds like a rip-off of that American TV series CSI.
It is not like Dublin is a hotbed of international crime..or is it???
