Penguin Sponsored Kilkenomics Kicks Off

The Penguin sponsored Kilkenomics festival starts tonight with What The Hell Just Happened? in The Set Theatre, Langton’s, Kilkenny.

The festival, which features leading comics, commentators and economists like David McWilliams, Brian Lucey, Peter Schiff, Shane Ross, Bill Black, Fintan O’Toole, Olivia O’Leary, John Lanchester, Peter Antonioni, Vilhjálmur Bjarnason, Colin Murphy, Jarlath Regan, Colm O’Regan and Neil Delamere bills itself as Ireland’s first Economics festival.

It runs from today until Sunday 14th November and features 24 events and speakers from across the globe. During the festival a new currency the Marble will be in circulation in the city and festival goers can buy meals, drink and many other products with the new notes.
